Welcome to our website!

This website is for providing information to our current and future members of the Hill Country Prescribed Burn Association. It is an organization of volunteers which exists for the purpose of conducting safe and effective prescribed burns on private lands within the geographical areas where its members reside. The goal of the membership is to use prescribed burning as a tool to enhance agricultural production and wildlife habitat through the use of fire.



Mission Statement

The main purpose of the Association is to provide training for our membership in the proper use of prescribed fire on rangelands, foster good relations between neighbors and within the community in regards to the use of prescribed fire, and share equipment and labor among our membership when conducting prescribed burns. The Association is currently made up of individuals that reside within Bandera, Blanco, Kendall, and Kerr counties.
